  • To strengthen public trust through accountability and justice.

 

Types of Complaints Accepted

  1. Personal Complaints – Related to individuals or families.

    • Domestic violence

    • Cyber harassment or fraud

    • Financial scams or cheating

    • Missing persons

    • Threats, blackmail, or defamation

  2. Social Complaints – Affecting a community, institution, or public interest.

    • Corruption or misuse of public funds

    • Illegal land encroachments or environmental violations

    • Exploitation of workers, animals, or marginalized groups

    • Public safety and welfare issues

 

Process of Complaint Handling

  1. Registration

    • Complaints can be filed online, in-person, or via email/post.

    • Each case receives a unique complaint number for tracking.

  2. Verification & Preliminary Review

    • The section verifies the authenticity of the complaint and supporting documents.

    • Urgent or high-risk cases are escalated immediately for action.

  3. Assignment to Investigation Unit

    • Based on the nature of the complaint, it is transferred to the relevant investigative division (e.g., cybercrime, social welfare, corruption, etc.).

  4. Follow-Up & Feedback

    • Complainants are regularly updated on the status and progress of their case.

    • Feedback is collected after closure to ensure service improvement.

 

Confidentiality & Protection

  • All complaints are handled under strict confidentiality.

  • The identity of the complainant is protected unless legally required to disclose.

  • Whistleblowers and witnesses are safeguarded under internal protection policies.

 

Citizen Support

  • The Complaint Section also offers guidance and counseling on how to file effective complaints.

  • For illiterate or digitally unskilled citizens, help desks are available for assisted filing.
